My Mom's Guide Seminars in Dover NH

On May 22 and June 4 I'll be presenting my beginner's seminar "The 4+4 Most Useful Features of iPhoto 2". This 90 minute session is a patient and fun exploration of the features that iPhoto beginners use most often. The unique "4+4" format presents four features chosen by me, plus four "requests" from the seminar attendees. More info.

My Mom's Guide

That's such a great name. I get kidded a lot when i refer to "my mom's recipe". I kinda had a Boys Club going two summers ago. Each night a group of guys would hang out at 1955 Chestnut and we'd play music and abuse substances and I'd cook. Using my mom's recipes. Somehow, it became a joke -- they didn't think that the word "recipe" was appropriate. A recipe is just a list of instructions towards making a food.
So saying "Open a can of corn" is still a recipe, even if it doesn't involve food from scratch. Like my favorite recipe that Mom sent me for a dessert: Buy an angel food cake. Make some lemon pudding from a box. Cut the cake and pour the pudding on the lower half of the cake, put the top half on and frost with cool whip. Just because it involved a storebought cake and cool whip does not invalidate that it is a recipe.

I stick up for my mom!!!
