Eye Candy
I realize that I haven't posted any pics of planes flying. I'll try to do something about that. In the meantime here's a start. From the Daily Airshow.

Good to see someone blogging from the airshow. Actually, I thought there'd be more - perhaps Technorati let me down.
I used to attend the airshow religiously, but I've been away for a few years. My nephew (a new pilot with eyes toward an aviation career) called yesterday and wanted me to go with him Saturday...I couldn't say no to him since he hates going alone to these things. Well, OK, actually, I couldn't say no since he knows which buttons to push on his uncle.
I seriously suspect he's doing a reverse Young Eagles thing on me...I'm a private pilot who hasn't flown for some time because of money ($$ midlife career change/college degree, $$$$ college age kids). I've only now gotten to the point where I can afford more than the four-six hours a month I feel I need to fly to remember how to land the steenkeen plane.
And he knows it.
