October 26, 2003Bad newsI just read a handful of definitive reports on Macintouch that all say that Panther, the cool new version of the Mac OS, will not install on my ancient, Powerbook (Wall Street). That kinda sucks. I've been looking forward to its features, and now it seems that I'm shut out. Ah well, no point in being too bummed out by this. I've known that it's only a matter of time. You can only keep these old machines running for so long. There is one, kinda kludgy, possible workaround. It involves installing a third-party patch called Xpostfacto.
