Open the pod bay door HAL.

SteveG responds to an article in the Wall St Journal. He says that his TiVo has not become self-aware yet. (It only seems that way.)

If systems are making up thier own minds about performing tasks, why hasn't that story made the front page of your newspaper?

Williams is this GREAT college that kicks the puny ass of Amherst every season in all sports and in admission rates and hottieness of their students.

Oh, I see. Well... you're on your own here Sherm.

Sherm says, in the comments above, not on his own weblog:

"This is a horrible site to link to."

Right. The Wall Street Journal requires a paid subscription to view their stories on line. I read that article the old fashioned way, in the newspaper.

The Wall Street Journal web site is horrible.

Shermy and I agree!
