What was I thinking?

Just wandered down to get that second cup of coffee, and the weather forecast was on the TV.

Why would anyone choose to live in an area where the forecast contains terms like, "arctic plunge" ???

When I lived in the Bay Area, every couple of years, the papers would have a page one headline like this:

Temps Plummet Into 40s

Me, Mrs Toad, and her husband spent a warm afternoon and early evening kicking around Berkeley the other day. Temps were in the 60s -- lots of sunshine.

The only artic plunge came when -- oh, that's right. We didn't have any artic plunges. We never do out here. :)

So you never learned to spell either.

I know I used the wrong I/Me format, but that was intenional. Square peg in round hole, remember.

But what did I fail to spell correctly...oh wait, arctic. Oh.

My bad.

Hey! Yes, Sherman, Rick and I enjoyed the warm Berkeley day! :-) It did get cooler into the evening, enough to justify me bringing my thick wool coat which I didn't need in the afternoon. But, an arctic plunge? Hmm.. no, probably not so much. What is an "arctic plunge" anyway?

January 10th entry (sorry I'm not more Blog literate to do the linking
right)

And my comments.. You people are sick. How can you possibly not enjoy
all the weather styles New England has to offer? It's like you claim to
like only Ben & Jerry's ice cream because it's so good but you only want
to eat vanilla. So it's cold. Throw another cat on the fire and brace
up.

*sheesh*
