I'm dubious about the McDonalds' version -- I confess, I haven't tried it -- but I like Jeff's standards for a good Cheesesteak. Posted by jghiii at January 14, 2004 04:19 PMComments

Before I got paid for corrupting young minds, I used to manage a Pizza & Sub joint. Our Steak & Cheese grinder was the big selling item. We'd cook up the steak in advance and there was always a tray of it on the warming table. Man, it was sooooo good being able to munch on that steak all day. I liked mine with lots of mayo and no onions or peppers. Just steak, bread, and cheese and mayo.
