Busy Saturday

Spent the day in southern New Hampshire.

First at the monthly meeting of the EAA Vintage Chapter 15 up in North Hampton. Lots of guys, and a few Gals, aching for flying weather to return.

Then to the Lake House for the afternoon. Doing midwinter sailboat maintenance... then practicing my Ice-Golf... making stirfrychicken with my sister and brother... oh, and surfing the web. You see, it may be at the edge of a remote lake, but this Lake House has broadband. That's where I am now.

Headed back to the big city tomorrow after breakfast. I'll be making my worldfamous pancakes.

Hey, how were those "World Famous" pancakes you made for breakfast, Jack? I gotta say I'm impressed! I didn't realize that you make "World Famous" pancakes, but now that you mention it, I think I have seen the signs! Well, maybe not all over the world, but definitely along the sides of the roads all over the U.S.! Lots of billboards one right after the other, going on and on about those "World Famous Flap Jacks"! Did it mean to say "Jack's Flaps"? I don't know, but I've seen them saying they're 20 miles away, 10 miles away, 5 miles away, turn right here, etc. Yep, your pancakes, Burma Shave, and some "World Famous Cup and Saucer Toss" which is probably amazing, but I regret to say that I never stopped. Dang.

Hey, be nice to my brother...he really does make good pancakes.

Beth, I wasn't being mean!

I totally love Jack's pancakes! I've had them on our Tahoe trips. He makes a great eggs, bacon and hash browns breakfast, too. In fact, I've always thought he's all around a good cook!

I was just joking about all those "World Famous" signs ya see on the sides of old highways, particularly along Route 66. An old slice of Americana. And I know Jack's familiar with the signs, having traveled throughout the country.

But yeah, Jack's pancakes rock! Now I'm hungry...

Maybe I should have just referred to them as nationallyfamous pancakes.

Hey Jack, ya know they really are "Nationally Famous"! You're talking about them in Boston and here I am chattin' them up in San Francisco. You should have your own billboard series along Highway 50! :-)
