March undecided

Mother Nature is not giving up easily. During the three hour drive home from Vermont last night my brother and I kept expecting the snow to taper off and stop. But everytime it would seem to be done, we'd drive into the heaviest snowfall of the drive.

It turns out that we were travelling WITH the storm as it moved southeast across northern New England. It was actually snowing harder in southern New Hampshire when we arrived than it had been in Vermont when we started.

Today was pretty nice back down here in Boston. It hit 50 degrees, sunny and bright. But the news is all a-flutter with a weather warning for a storm, tomorrow and Wednesday, that may drop as much as a foot of snow.

Gone East. Humbug!

It's 4pm and 82 freaking degrees (it's too hot to do a mom alert) in Berkeley.

Damn.

Does anyone remember last November when Jack came to Vermont to visit, and complained of catching cold germs from his niece and nephew? Well he came back to Vermont last weekend and brought the germs back. I am feeling the onset of a cold and blame his presence in my house for 2 days the cause...

Dave reports that I "brought the germs back"

And people say that I don't return the things I borrow.

BWAHAHA! That was funny, Jack.

I'd like to know what you did to keep those germs around for a whole year... wow!

9:30 at night and 70 degrees.

Man, this heat wave just won't go away. You all can go inside or bundle up -- you can always get warm -- you can't get cool.

Freaking inversive cloud patterns.
