What a way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon.
I was just planning on watching the first few innings of today's Red Sox game, and then head out to enjoy the day. But they captured my attention.
We were ahead for awhile, but the Yanks tied it up, and it stayed that way into extra innings.
Last year this time we were cursing our bullpen, but this year they are gods. Over 22 innings now without a run given up by the relievers.
We finally eeked out a small-ball run in the top of the 12th to take the lead. And the pen closed it out for the Win.
Yay Sox!
