Not according to plan

It was supposed to be a magical moment.

Curt Schilling was supposed to shut down the Yankees and close out the game for a Redsox win. That's not quite what happened.

In his first appearance as reliever, Schilling gave up two runs, allowing the Yanks to take the lead, and ultimately the win.

In his first time back to the mound in two months, Schilling gets the loss, and the expectations of Redsox Nation are deflated.

But let's not panic. Curt lost a disappointing game early in last year's playoffs, only to come back, surgically lashed together, to save the day. He figured it out back then, let's give him a chance to adjust, and make it work this time too.
