My Birthweek: Day Four
The weather's been real nice for all of my birthweek so far. I've been down here in Massachusetts for almost a month now helping my parents. Today I treated myself to a couple of hours off in the afternoon, and a walk up Mt. Hood.
I walked alongside the golf course, beside the ponds, and up to the old stone tower.
I watched a raccoon trying to sneak off with a captured creature in its teeth. It had to swim across the edge of the pond in order to not pass too close to me.
I spent some time pondering whether the game of golf might be modified to award extra points for hitting "canadian" geese with your tee shot.
A very nice afternoon.
