Button, buttons who's got the...

You learn something new every day.

Why do men's clothes button on one side, and women's on the other?

Because, way back when, men's buttons were positioned so they could easily unbutton with their left hand, leaving their right hand free to reach for their weapon.

Women's button were on the other side so that wealthy women's maids, who were mostly right-handed, could easily dress their mistresses.

Social Media Breakfast in Boston

Bryan Person (callsign:Bryper) has organized "an anything-goes breakfast" for "the best and brighest from Boston’s social media community". I think I'm gonna go anyway, see if I can sneak in.

It's next Wednesday, 8am, on Boylston St, Boston.

Here's Bryan's blog post about it. And here's the Upcoming calendar listing.

Gary Vaynerchuk's Wine Library TV

I've never watched or read any sort of wine review before. I'll drink most anything that's put in front of me. But this guy is a lot of fun. Now I want to go out and watch more of his shows.

(Sherm's gonna have a field-day with this one.)

I'm not buying it

Barry Bonds may have hit 756 homers in his career. But as far as I'm concerned, the record is still 755, and it's held by Hank Aaron.
