"It is not how old you are, but how you are old."
-- Jules Renard, writer (1864-1910)
"E" and "Macintosh" both have the #1 movie of the weekend. Vinnie and PC must be bummed.
Long-time readers of these posts will remember the legendary SoBeDi diet era. When I managed to lose 30 pounds by more-or-less following the South Beach Diet and getting lots of exercise.
As expected, many of those lost pounds found their way home, and it's now long past time to do something about it. Permanently this time, I hope.
I've always thought that it was more the exercise than the diet that led to my weight loss back then. So this time, in addition to watching what I eat, I've joined a gym.
I did a one-year sign up at The Works, in Somersworth NH.
Soon I'll be meeting with a personal trainer (three sessions come with the membership) to craft a workout plan that will get me where I want to be.
In the meantime I've been going in and riding their cool, networked-with-3D-graphics, stationary bikes, and also doing some running on their indoor track.
Look out summer, here I come.
