As opposed to?

In a recent blog entry Doc Searls wrote, "after landing at LAX in a passenger plane..."

My question is, what other sort of plane might he arrive in?

There are many ways to fly without the use of aircraft.

I am sure Sherm knows many ways to fly and still keep his feet on the ground.

I don't know what you're talking about. Sherm's a good boy!

Jack thinks I don't check the comments, so he lets me know when people reply. I check them already, but it gives Mr Unemployed something to do. You know, all this down time is good practice for your retirment, Jack.

Most notable in Jack's response to David's response is that Jack infers that something is bad about flying on the ground. David doesn't imply that as far as I can see -- and I have no shame about my flying, although I call it Space Ghosting in my aol profile.
