a million

PC World website:

On Monday Apple announced that more than a million copies of the ITunes for Windows software had been downloaded in the first three days following the software's release. The company also said that more than a million songs were purchased in the same period.

I bought my first song.

It was easy and fun.

I hope I'm not the only one who never used any illegal downloading software.

Since I used to work in a computer store I always felt good when I purchased software since it kept me in a job.

After that I transfered that thinking to music and always bought CD's.

I take advantage of legal downloads from band websites.

I think there are lots of people who are going to jump on the iTunes bandwagon and pay for music now.

I think my mother would.

This post implies that you are a Windows user, Steve. I trust that's not true.

I'm a Mac user. Mac, Mac, Mac Mac, Mac!

I'd just never purchased a song on the iTunes Music Store.

But, Steve's speech announcing hte windows version of iTunes psyched me up so much that I went and made my first iTunes purchase!

Exiting Update: I was over my mothers today helping her learn Blogger to update her weblog when her PC laptop crashed. I had been telling her all along that Macs don't crash like that.

Later she told me that she might want to replace her old Windows 95 laptop with a Mac! Yay!
