Sublime fragrance

So I'm not the only one to notice this. Although I have always resisted the impulse to talk about it in public. Bri:

The reason I always serve asparagus to guests is that it is often the catalyst for reviving dinner conversation gone slow. Just when talk gets to wearing thin about kids, pets and jobs, I like to chime in with a "Can you smell it?"

Most everyone goes “Smell what?” And then I know I've got them.
