Seemed like a good idea at the time.... NOT.

What was she thinking??? AP via Yahoo!:

COVINGTON, Ga. - A woman was caught trying to use a fake $1 million bill to buy $1,675 worth of merchandise at a Wal-Mart, and was later found with two more of the bills in her purse, police said.

The bigger the lie, the more likely it will be believed. That's a policy that's worked for our government for a long time.

What she should have done was knock a couple of zeros off that bill and she would have gotten away with it. C'mon, you're telling me a Wal-Mart employee wouldn't have made change for 2 thousand dollar bills?

Beth, forgive him for he knows not of what he speaks.

MGA, careful there.

Beth works at Wal-Mart?

You ever read Nickle and Dime? It's a required text in a lot of Berkeley classes.

So, Beth, my best friend and smartest woman in the much of an employee discount do you get?

Ha! I gotta be scared of Beth?
More like I gotta be scared of Judy!
Never mind I gotta be scared of my wife (who was a CSM before she moved into the "cash room").

Actually it's Judy who works at Walmart...and her discount is a measly 10 percent.

See, I knew it was Judy I needed to be scared of.

And what's up with JGH not knowing which one it was that worked there anyway?

I know, I know.. not your sister's keeper or something.

I know very well who works there.

What people don't seem to understand is that Beth is the family Enforcer. Trash talk about one of the siblings, and SHE'S the one who comes knocking on your door.

I would never trash Judy. And whenever I'm in Walmart and she doesn't have a backload on her register,I go there to say "Hi" and stay in touch.

And I'm certain SHE would know that a million dollar bill would be bogus, anyway.

BTW, Jack: Nice recovery.
