Internet Maverick

I think Mark Cuban is an interesting guy. He struck it rich by founding broadcast.com, selling it to Yahoo!, and then cashing out before the crash. He bought the Dallas Mavericks basketball team where he's a court-side fixture. He started HDNet which is creating content for Hi Def TV. He's gonna be the subject of a "reality" show, called The Benefactor, where he gives aways money. And we heard in the news today that he's bought 6% of search engine mamma.com

Well, he's started a blog. It's new, only three entries so far. But he has a history of being very vocal in email and the media. If he writes regularly, it will be juicy.

Hey cool! I think he's an interesting guy, too.

I love that he gives the crowd Taco Bell Chalupas whenever, well, whatever it is that has to happen on the court for him to do it, but he does it and that's cool! Huh?

And he tried his hand at cheesy bit acting parts and totally sucked and his family told him so and he stopped trying to act and then became a kazillionairre. So there! (Major run-on sentence there!)

He also has a huge house in his home state of Texas (where everything's bigger anyway)... but he has no furniture!

Like you said, interesting guy!
