Almost there

Years ago, long before I lived in California, there was a measure that I would use to mark one of the major milestones of Spring. I would look forward to the days when it would be at least 50 degrees at 8 am.

This morning it was 48.9 at 8.

You know, and I'm just thinking here, maybe the reason you didn't get a longtime girlfriend in California is that the women all are into morning sex in Cali, and in your house it would be like:

"Oh yeah, Jack. That's it. Hit that spot. Again. Oh, sweet. I'm almost there. Yes. Yes. Yes. Just a little bit more and I'll.."

"Sorry, it's 7:59. I have to go check the temperature now. But I'll be right back."

And while he did always come back, they were always gone by the time he returned.

Again, just thinking.
