Beat 'Em!

Although they gave us a little scare in the 9th, we managed to beat the Yankees comfortably yesterday afternoon in a game I didn't get to watch til late last evening.

Schilling and the Sox played really well. A-Rod and the Yanks, not so much.

Interesting stat I saw on Yahoo! Sports. Friday night's game was the 50th consecutive game between the Sox and the Yankees where the two teams occupied the top two positions in the AL East standings. A major league baseball record! And ironically, the streak ended Friday when the YANKEES dropped into third!

BTW, after Saturday's loss the Yanks are now in FOURTH PLACE.
